A man learing how to wingfoil on shoreline lake

basic wingfoiling

This class is now offered in a two-part format, with Towfoiling and Wingfoiling each available as a separate, 1-day class.

Towfoiling

Take the next step in your wingfoiling experience! In this class, students will start out riding a foilboard while being towed by a powerboat to learn how to ride high above the water using a hydrofoil.

Towfoiling is designed exclusively around learning to ride a foilboard, and does not include use of the wing, so that students can better focus on learning how to balance on and control this unique type of board.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Beginner or Intro Wingboarding course (or its equivalent). Students must be comfortable swimming and treading water.

Wingfoiling

After learning the basics of riding the foilboard while being towed, students will progress to using the wing and foilboard together.

This is where you finally put together everything you learned, and ride high above the water on a foilboard propelled by a wing.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Towfoiling course (or equivalent experience with foilboards). Students must be comfortable swimming and treading water.
